1.Battery Storage

It is recommended that the batteries be stored in an environment with a temperature range of 0℃ to 45℃. When the SOC drops to 40% after long-term storage, periodically charge the batteries with 50A current according to Table 1. When the battery is not in use, it is recommended that it be stored continuously for not more than 3 months.

Table 1: Storage time charging conditions

Storage Temperature Storage Humidity Storage Time SOC (State of Charge)
< 0℃ - Prohibit -
0℃ - 45℃ 10%RH ~ 90%RH < 3 months 40% ~ 60%
> 45℃ - Prohibit -

2.Charging requirements for over discharge

Charge the over discharged (90% DOD) battery within the time specified in Table 2, otherwise the battery module will be damaged.

Storage Temperature Storage Time Note
0℃ ~ 25℃ ≤ 15 days The battery pack is disconnected from the PCS
25℃ ~ 45℃ < 7 days

3. Charging

3.1 Charging Current

The charging current shall not exceed the maximum charging current specified in the instructions. Charging with a current higher than the recommended value may cause problems with the charge-discharge performance, mechanical properties, and safety performance of the cell. and may cause heating or leakage.

3.2 Charging Voltage

The charging voltage shall not exceed the rated voltage specified in the instructions. The charging voltage cannot be higher than the maximum limit, and the charger should meet this condition. When the voltage of the battery cell is higher than the rated voltage value, it may cause problems in the charging and discharging performance, mechanical properties and safety performance of the battery cell, which may lead to heating or leakage.
