We recommend using a lithium iron phosphate 4-string (14.6V) charger to efficiently charge the battery. However, there are alternative methods:
Scheme 2: You can charge the battery using photovoltaic solar panels through an MPPT charger.
Scheme 3: You can charge the battery pack using an inverter with a built-in AC to DC charging function.
A BMS, or Battery Management System, is a vital component of our LiFePO4 battery. It performs several functions:
a. It safeguards the battery and the user by shutting off the battery in cases of low or high voltage, low or high temperatures, and system shorts.
b. Our BMS maintains cell balance within the battery pack. During each charge cycle, it reduces the charging rate in cells that have reached their capacity, allowing other cells to catch up. This ensures overall balance, quality, and efficiency of the battery pack.
Our LiFePO4 batteries provide over 2000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge (DoD), and they can even reach over 5000 cycles at 80% DoD. Compared to standard lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 batteries have a service life that is 8 to 10 times longer.
